The Berry Wildcats began Region 6 play by hosting the Hubbertville Lions in the 78th meeting between the cross-county rivals. Both teams were able to put together long drives during the game, but a couple of big plays by the Wildcats’ offense would make the difference, as Berry took the win 28-6. Hubbertville won the toss and elected to receive the opening kickoff. The Lions returned the kickoff to the Hubbertville 45-yard line to begin play. The Lions put together a four-play drive featuring runs by Triston Alexander, Gage Key, and Robert Anthony. However, on fourth and nine, the Lions opted to have Key punt the ball to the Wildcats.
