The Fayette County High School boys golf team won the 2025 WAC Tournament at Oak Hill Country Club on Wednesday, April 2. Clark Vandiver was the winning medalist. FCHS golf teams win WAC Championship
A Black pioneer celebration ceremony was held on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Fayette Civic Center. The keynote speaker was Pastor Corey Savage.  The ceremony, entitled “Brother to Brother” was held to honor Black pioneers in the local community. The following people were recognized: Anthony Wilson Sr., Ulysses Nalls, Rosalind Peoples, Bill McCollum, Rev. Jerry Bridges, Alicia Nalls, Millie Nalls, Jimmy Lee Suddith, Rev. O.L.
