St. Michael's to have a summer art camp

St. Michael’s Episcopal Church will have a summer art camp on Wednesday, July 16 through Friday, July 18 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be several different craft “stations” for kids to choose from. The older children have the option to go downstairs with Ms. Deb. All supplies, lunch and drinks will be supplied at no charge. There is no age limit, if your child can craft, they can come. Shady Grove to host health fair

There will be a health fair on Saturday, June 21 starting at 12 p.m. at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Everyone in the community is invited. A free health screening will be provided. They will also distribute valuable health information.  People are encouraged to bring family, friends and neighbors. Rev. Timothy Whitson is the pastor.  

Calling all crochet crafters

There will be a non-denominational crocheted shawl/baby blanket ministry at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 431 10th St, N.W., in Fayette, on Thursdays at 1:30 p.m.  Finished items are yours to keep, donate or sell. 55th Fayette Arts Festival

The 55th Fayette Arts Festival is Saturday, Sept. 13,  at the  Fayette Civic Center/Art Museum from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Calling all Artists and Craftsmen to apply to sell your original, handmade art and/or craft or goods.  You can get an application at the Fayette Civic Center/Art Museum at 530 Temple Ave. N., Fayette or call 205-932-8727 or email us at fayetteartmuseum@yahoo.com to get your application today.  The application deadline is August 15, so apply quick to reserve your spot.  It's first come, first serve.
