Lady Wildcats start season with win over Fayette

On Feb. 18, the Berry Varsity girls played their first season game on the new softball field at Berry High School and grabbed a 4-3 victory over Fayette County.  Berry faced off against Winston County on Feb. 25, but fell short with a final score of 3-6. On Saturday, March 1, The Lady Wildcats had an outstanding performance at the Aggie Classic, going 4- 0 over the weekend. They achieved victories against Hackleburg (15-1), Marion County (9-4), Dora (15-0), and Curry (1-0). The team outscored their opponents 41-5 for the weekend.

The Berry Varsity boys lost 8-0 against the Oakman Wildcats on Saturday, Feb. 15. The Wildcats earned a 6-4 victory over the Carbon Hill Bulldogs on Tuesday, Feb.18.  On Monday, Feb. 24, the Wildcats fell 9-5 to the Lamar County Bulldogs. Berry Wildcats fell to Pickens Academy 6-3 on Tuesday, Feb 25. On Friday, Feb. 28, the Wildcats secured a 14-0 victory against Lamar County.
