LINDA ANN WIILLIAMSON ENGLE
Graveside services for Mrs. Linda Ann Williamson Engle, age 90 of Fayette, were held Monday, March 11, 2024, at Fayette Memorial Gardens. She died Saturday, March 9, at Fayette Medical Center Long Term Care.
Linda was born in Fayette and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Jefferson-Hillman Hospital School of Nursing (now UAB) and spent most of her career as an RN at Fayette Medical Center. She loved gardening, traveling with her nurse friends and thrift shopping. She was a member of Fayette First Baptist Church and Upper Room Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William P. and Mamie Collins Williamson; husband, George E. Engle; brothers, William Tyrus Williamson and Thomas Lloyd Williamson; and sister, Rachel Loudean Caccamo.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Engle (Wes) of Goodlettsville, Tenn. and Billy Engle (Carol) of Helena; and two grandchildren, Allen Engle and Sarah Engle.
Honorary Pallbearers were nurses and staff at Fayette Medical Center LTC and Morningview Estates.
