The Fayette Kiwanis Chapter recently held its 26th annual golf tournament to raise funds for the Fayette County Weldy Homes for Girls. This year, 90 golfers participated in the tournament, and approximately $12,000 was raised by the Kiwanis Chapter for the Weldy Home. Golf Project Chairman Don Bell said that the proceeds from this year’s tournament will make more than $300,000 that the club has donated to the home during the 26 years that it has hosted the tournament.
