SHOWA Manufacturing makes big economic impact on local community

A group of local, state and national leaders toured the SHOWA Glove Manufacturing facility in Fayette on Oct. 14 to get a glimpse of the future of world-class glove manufacturing. SHOWA has just completed the outside of a 43,000 square-foot, six story tall building that will house new state-of-the-art equipment for glove manufacturing. The expansion should double or possibly triple the glove manufacturing capacity of the facility, and will add approximately 100 - 170 new jobs to the Fayette economy.
