EDWARD TERRY

Funeral services for Mr. Edward Terry, age 73, of Fayette, were held Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at 4 p.m. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, with Allen Magouirk presiding. Burial followed in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Terry died Friday, May 29 at Northport Medical Center. Edward was a wonderful provider, and outstanding, loving father and an incredible grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a great friend to all and will be missed by many. Edward loved to fish and hang out with friends at Two Rivers Subdivision and hang out at Northside at The Shop. Survivors include his wife, Eva Nell Terry of Fayette; son, Chad Terry (Leah) of Samantha; daughter, Nikki Walker of Northport; sisters, Rose Mary Blakney and Dorisene Ogle; three grandchildren, Jessi Stephan (Wesley), Jodi Pendley, Mikaela Swindle (Trey); and four great-grandchildren, Adale Stephan, Aris Stephan, Sadie Howton and Anna Presley Swindle. Pallbearers were Jus Freeman, Justen Jones, R. C. Barley, Danny Morris, Jimmy Knight and Marvin Odom. Honorary pallbearer was Sonny Cotton. Nelson Funeral Home of Fayette directed.
