LEGAL NOTICE
Pursuant to Section 9-16-70 et seq., Alabama Code, 1975, Alabama Land Resources, Inc., North River #1 Mine, hereby gives notice that it has filed a Phase III bond release application with the Alabama Surface mining Commission. This application requests release of performance bond for Permit P-3222-32-23-U, Increment No. 1. The area of land for which bond release is requested consists of 264 acres in Increment 1 all located in:
SW/SW of Section 29, SE/SE of Section 30, NE/NE, SE/NE, NE/SE of Section 31, NE/SW, NW/SW, NE/NW, SE/NW, SW/NW, NW/NW of Section 32, Township 16 South, Range 10 West, Fayette County, Alabama.
The permittee maintains that as of 4/13/2026, all applicable reclamation requirements for a Phase III release including all the requirements involving regrading, planting, and growing times of the area have been completed in compliance with State Law and regulations and the approved reclamation plan. The permittee, therefore, is requesting release of $435,600.00 of the performance bond $435,600.00 for Increment No. 1.
