The Fayette Co. Republicans will meet Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Fayette Civic Center. Representative Barry Moore, candidate for the U.S. Senate, will be the invited speaker. Light refreshments will be served.

The Belk Community Club held at the Belk Community Center will not meet in December. Everyone has so many events in December, the meeting will resume in January.
FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, 440 1st St. S.W., Fayette, will have a Christmas singing featuring Milborn Savage and the Masterpieces on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 3:30 p.m. Rev. Major Charleston is the pastor. Everyone is welcome.

Fayette Old Fashion Christmas will be held Thursday, Dec. 4 from 5 until 8 p.m. in downtown Fayette. There will be music, food, shopping, train rides for kids, carriage rides, horse and buggy rides, photos with Santa, a Snow Globe and much more. There will also be a live Nativity scene at Fayette First Methodist Church.
The Town of Glen Allen invites you, your family and friends to join the 100 Alabama Miles Challenge. The 100 Alabama Miles Challenge is a challenge to walk, run, hike, bike, swim, paddle, ride or roll 100 miles through the state. The Opening Reception for the Festival of Trees will Thursday, Dec. 4, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Fayette Civic Center/Art Museum. You are invited to walk or catch the little train from downtown during Fayette Old Fashion Christmas and enjoy some warm cider and Christmas cookies and see all of the trees and Christmas décor.
The Fayette Art Museum/ Civic Center would like to invite everyone to the 19th Annual Festival of Trees, from Dec. 1 until Jan. 2.
