The Fayette Farmers Market opened for the season on Saturday, May 24. The market is held each Saturday through the summer across from the Fayette Train Depot Museum. Hours are 8-11 a.m.

The Fayette County High School boys golf team won the 2025 WAC Tournament at Oak Hill Country Club on Wednesday, April 2. Clark Vandiver was the winning medalist. FCHS golf teams win WAC Championship
A Black pioneer celebration ceremony was held on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Fayette Civic Center. The keynote speaker was Pastor Corey Savage.  The ceremony, entitled “Brother to Brother” was held to honor Black pioneers in the local community.
