NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
WHEREAS Lakeshia Billups has filed a petition requesting that the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Fayette adopted on July 15, 1996, be amended to change the zoning classification of the following described lands located on 5th Street SW, Fayette, Alabama 35555 from R-2 Residential District to R-4 Manufactured Home Subdivision District viz:
A lot or parcel of land in the NE portion of the SW ¼ of NE ¼, Section 12, Township 16, Range 13 West, being more particularly described as commencing at a point 70 feet South of the NE corner, which point is the SE corner of the Joe Thomas Savage lot; thence run South 98 feet to a point which is the NE corner of the Gregory Brent lot; thence run in a Northwesterly direction along the North edge of the Brent lot a distance of 148 feet to a stake on the edge of a street; thence run North along the East edge of a street 56 feet to a stake; thence run East a distance of 154 feet to the point of beginning. The proposal shall be considered by the Planning Commission on the 30th day of June, 2025, at 5:30 o’clock p.m., at a public meeting to be held at City Hall, at the same time and place all persons will have the right and are invited to be present and to be heard either for or against the proposal.
