The Berry Town Council approved the purchase of a drug dog during its Feb, 5 meeting. All council members were present for the meeting. The council addressed the purchase of another drug dog to help with patrolling Berry and other areas if municipalities need assistance. The most recent drug dog died in an accident, and the previous drug dog is no longer able to perform its duties as well as is needed.
