Fayette Christmas Parade rescheduled
Due to the threat of rainy and inclement weather on the original Fayette Christmas Parade date of Dec. 5, the parade was postponed and has been rescheduled for Monday, Dec. 12.

The annual Fayette Christmas Parade will be held this year on Monday, Dec. 5, with lots of lights, sounds and Christmas cheer to delight children and adults of all ages. Co-Chairperson Marla Kizzire said that anyone wishing to place an entry in the parade can see her or Co-Chairperson Belinda Watts prior to the parade, or they can just show up between 5-6 p.m. on the day of the parade at the old vacant shopping center lot.

The annual Fayette Christmas Parade was a huge success, with an unusually large number of entrants in this year’s parade. The parade featured the FCHS band, floats, decorated cars and four-wheelers, fire trucks, horses and a visit from Santa.
