Jimmy was born July 31, 1950 to proud parents Lee Edward and Clara Bea Hudson. He grew up in Kennedy. He and his loving wife Sandy raised three daughters in a home full of faith and love. He was a faithful Christian , and served the Lord in many roles at the churches he attended. Although the last several years brought challenges, he never wavered in his great faith and devotion to God. His faith was always on full display whether praying, reciting bible verses, words of encouragement or sharing the Gospel and love of God. He was a devoted husband, daddy and paw paw. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He joined his loving wife of 42 years, Sandy, who recently took her Heavenly flight March 16, 2024.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Sam and Carolyn Tubbs; and son-in-law, Anthony Brown.
His favorite Bible verse John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives, do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.” Thank you Lord for blessing our family with a wonderful daddy, and paw paw. Our hearts rejoice in knowing he is with his Loving Savior, precious wife and loved ones. He leaves his family a legacy of great faith and love.
