Water shortage at Boley returning to normal

After two weeks of extreme water outages, the Boley, Flatwoods and Alta communities are finally getting some relief from an on-going problem with the Oakman Water Works. The problem began on Sunday, Jan. 14, and for two weeks, residents of those and other areas of Fayette and Walker counties had to haul water to their homes for flushing toilets and pick up bottled water for cooking and drinking. They also had to find alternate means to wash clothes and take baths.
