Glen Allen holds council meeting

The Glen Allen town council held its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 5 at the Glen Allen Town Hall. All councilors were in attendance for the meeting. Mayor Allen J. Dunavant brought before the council a consideration for the municipality to become a participating member of the Alabama League of Municipalities, Municipal Intercept Services (MIS). This program serves as a conduit between participating municipalities and the Alabama Department of Revenue (ADOR), which enables ADOR to  recover delinquent debts owed by individuals by collecting the debt from the individual's Alabama State tax refund. The service is provided at no cost to municipal entities within the state of Alabama.
