The Fayette Co. High School class of 1981 will have their 45th class reunion on Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6. If you have not already registered, please do so. There is a fee of $35 per person or $50 per couple. The fee includes dinner on Friday evening at Fayette Civic Center and lunch on Saturday at Fayette Middle School.
The Fayette Co. Forestry Planning Committee will host its annual Arbor Day tree giveaway on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 7 a.m. at the Extension Office, 650 McConnell Loop in Fayette. A limited supply of trees will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis. Varieties available may include Crab Apple, Sassafras, Dogwood, Persimmon, Black Tupelo, Ginkgo and White Oak.
