On Tuesday, April 1, the Fayette Police and Fire Departments responded to a two-vehicle crash on Temple Ave. N., in front of Alabama Credit Union. According to the crash report, the driver of the log truck stated that he approached the 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo but was unable to stop in time, resulting in the collision. The driver of the log truck was transported by Fayette County EMS to Fayette Medical Center for further evaluation.
