Trimm retirement marks the end of era for local VFD

After 39 years of service, Gary Trimm is retiring from the Kirkland Bluff and Wayside Volunteer Fire Department (KBW VFD). His retirement marks the end of an era for the department, and the community is invited to come and honor his extraordinary commitment and leadership.

A retirement celebration will be held on Saturday, March 29, at 6 p.m. at the Kirkland Community Center. The fire department invites all community members to attend, to honor Trimm’s years of service.
