BSCC announces 'Student Honors Awards'

Bevill State Community College in Fayette announed its 2019-20 academic year “Student Honors Awards” recently. Dr. Kim Ennis, president of Bevill State Community College in Fayette announced the awards and had the following remarks to say on behalf of the administration, faculty, and staff of Bevill State. “Typically, this is a season of celebration at our institution, when we celebrate the accomplishments of our students through graduation programs, student honors programs, and in years past, nursing pinnings.” Ennis said. “Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the College was unable to host an Honors Program on each of our campuses as we do every year. The honor of receiving these awards reflects the hard work and dedication of the recipient and we want to recognize that. Discussions are ongoing concerning alternatives for graduation. Successful completion of a student’s program of study is a monumental accomplishment. On behalf of everyone at Bevill State, we congratulate you on your graduation! Recipients of honors awards are some of Bevill State’s best and brightest students. They have demonstrated outstanding service and leadership while at our institution, as well as those that have excelled in the classroom. These are outstanding distinctions, and Bevill State would like you to know that we share your pride in this notable accomplishment. You have distinguished yourself as a student who pursues excellence and goes far beyond expectations. We know that these traits will carry over and serve you well in your future pursuits.”
