Annual Cleanup Day is Saturday



The City of Fayette will hold its annual Cleanup Campaign on Saturday, April 22. Participants will meet at Fayette City Hall that morning at 9 a.m., and the event is scheduled to conclude at approximately 11 a.m. - noon at the City Hall. The Cleanup Campaign is a project of Alabama’s PALS (People Against a Littered State).

The Glen Allen Town Council met on Tuesday, May 3 at the town’s community center. All council members were in attendance for the monthly meeting. Following standard opening procedures, Mayor Allen J. Dunavant stated that an item of old business needed to be addressed prior to conducting business on the new agenda.

Glen Allen to hold cleanup day

The Glen Allen Town Council held its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 5. All council members were in attendance for the monthly scheduled meeting. During the meeting, the council voted to conduct the town’s annual spring cleanup on Saturday, April 30. The cleanup is being held in conjunction with the People Against a Littered State (PALS) “Don’t Drop it on Alabama” Statewide Spring Cleanup.
