Funeral services for Dr. Martha Branyon, age 83, of Birmingham, formerly of Fayette, were held Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020, at 2 p.m., at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Paul Murphy officiated. Burial followed in the Fayette City Cemetery. Dr. Branyon passed away Sunday, Feb. 9.

Funeral services for Ms. Evelyn Freeman, age 59, of Fayette, were held Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, at 12 noon at Shady Grove Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Ms. Freeman died Thursday, Feb. 6 in Fayette. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel of Fayette directed.

GWEN SANDERS Funeral services for Mrs. Gwen Sanders, age 101, of Fayette, were held Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020, at 2 p.m., at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel with Dr. Ken Dunivant and Pastor Kathy Griffith officiating. Burial followed at Fayette City Cemetery. Mrs. Sanders died Thursday, Feb. 6.

Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Dell Walton, age 87, of Fayette, were held Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020, at 2 p.m., at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel with Rev. Tim Meherg officiating. Burial followed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Walton died Monday, Feb. 3 at Fayette Medical Center Long Term Care.

Mr. McCool passed from this life on Wednesday, Jan. 1, while surrounded by his family singing hymns at his side, in his home in Zion Community near Gordo.

Mark Johnston officiated, assisted by the Rev. Richelle Thompson. Graveside was at the Robertson Family Cemetery immediately following the service. Mr. Robertson passed away at his residence on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019.
