The Fayette County varsity boys secured a 9-8 victory over the Winfield Pirates on Monday March 3. The Tigers faced a 11-4 loss by the Gordo Greenwave on Wednesday, March 5 and fell 10-3 to the Northside Rams on Thursday, March 6.
On Monday, March 3, the Fayette County varsity girls defeated the Haleyville Lions 7-4 in their first home game and area game of the season. The Lady Tigers claimed a 11-3 victory over the Marion County Red Raiders on Thursday. The next day, Fayette fell to the Oakman Wildcats, 4-3.
