The Fayette County Board of Education held its Feb. 20 meeting in the central office boardroom at the courthouse annex. All board members were present for the meeting. Board President Tom Hubbert opened the meeting with prayer, followed by board member Tierre Agnew leading the Pledge of Allegiance. At the beginning of the meeting, Josh Taylor, audit manager with the Alabama Department of Examiners of Public Accounts, briefly discussed his department’s findings following the Fayette County Board of Education’s fiscal year 2023 audit.
