BONNIE HOLLIMAN
Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Holliman, age 72, of Fayette, were held Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Randy Harris officiated. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Holliman went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Oct. 31 at Hospice of West Alabama with her family by her side.
She was born Oct. 22, 1949 to Athel and Lucille Moore.
Her most cherished moments were spent embracing her roles as wife, mother, Gram and GiGi. She loved the Lord, all her Crossview Church family, immediate and extended family, shopping, and Alabama football.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Athel and Lucille Moore; and great-nephew Kaleb Owens.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Philip Holliman of Fayette; son, Mike Butts (Shana) of Northport; daughter, Krystle Bryant (Russell) of Northport; step-sons, Phil Holliman and Lance Holliman (Niki), both of Fayette; brother, Arthur Moore (Jimmie) of Bankston; sister, Willie Mae Sims (Bill) of Bankston; sister-in-law, Sandra Holliman of Fayette; six granddaughters, Holley Dover Kelly (Dillon), Sawyer Bryant, Annistyn Bryant, MacKenzie Holliman, Samantha Holliman, and Claire Holliman; three grandsons, Cole Holliman, Paxton Hall and Steven Dover; one great-granddaughter, Emma Kelly; nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers were Rodney Ingle, Randall Owens, Parker Moore, Kaleb Owens, Zack Ingle, Braden Moore, Alex Sims, Paxton Hall, and Gabe Stidham.
Active pallbearers were Steven Dover, Cole Holliman, Dillon Kelly, Mark Moore, Chad Sims, and Kevin Moore.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Pam Hughes, Dr. John Crew, the staff at Manderson Cancer Center, and Hospice of West Alabama.
