Berry softball finishes second in NAC

The Berry Lady Wildcats played eight games in softball last week, finishing the week as runner-up in the NAC Tournament. Earlier in the week, Lamar County defeated Berry 4-3.
Kyla Edmonson pitched a complete seven-inning game and suffered the defeat. She allowed only one earned run on five hits while striking out 12 batters. Ashlyn Smith had a hit and scored a run, Allie Taylor had a hit, a RBI, and scored a run, Edmonson had two hits and a RBI, and Lynsie Abernathy had one hit and scored a run. Brooke Hill, Caitlyn Banks, Anna Kate VanDee and Gracyn Hydrick each collected a hit during the game.
