Parents concerned over relocation plans

On Monday, March 31, a meeting was held at the Berry High School gym to inform parents about the potential move of sixth-grade students from Berry Elementary School to the high school. 

Board approves purchase for FES

The Fayette County Board of Education met on Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Fayette County High School library. District Four Board Member Brenda Webb called the meeting to order with all board members in attendance. The meeting began with a prayer led by District One Board Member John Aaron followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by District Six Board Member Portia Stowe.

Board of Education welcomes Stowe to her first meeting

The Fayette County Board of Education met on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at the Hubbertville School library. All board members were present. The meeting began with a prayer led by District One Board Member John Aaron followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by District Two Board Member Tierre Agnew. Superintendent Jim Burkhalter and board members welcomed newly elected member Portia Stowe.
