BOE approves personnel actions, hears Career Tech proposal

The Fayette County Board of Education met Tuesday, March 10, with all board members present. Following the opening prayer and pledge, the board approved the meeting agenda and minutes from the Feb. 10 meeting. One of the main items of business was the personnel action report. Board members approved several personnel items including leave requests, new hires, contracts and coaching assignments. Among the new hires were Kim Guthrie as a secondary math teacher at Fayette County High School and Robyn Wilson as a lunchroom worker at the high school.
