Kiwanis Club hosts 31st annual golf tournament

The Kiwanis Club of Fayette County and golfers from around the county gathered underneath the warm fall sun on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at the Fayette Country Club for the 31st annual “Kiwanis Klassic” golf tournament. The event, held every year since 1996, aims to raise money for the Weldy Home for Girls. Since its inception, the event has raised over $360k for the group home, with $14,326 more being added to the total after Wednesday’s event.
