Timmy Henderson of Glen Allen was struck while riding his lawnmower near the intersection of State Highway 233 and State Highway 129. Henderson was transported by Marion County EMS and was eventually sent to a hospital in Birmingham with serious injuries. He has since been released and has “a long road ahead of him,” according to Glen Allen Mayor Allen Dunavant. Hubbertville and Glen Allen Volunteer Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
