Fayette Fly-In is a huge success

This particular vintage World War II plane played a major part in helping win the war, as it was responsible for gunning down 12 German aircrafts.

The first “Fly-In” at the Fayette Airport in 14 years was a huge success, based on the number of pilots and visitors to the event. Brenda Walters, one of the organizers of the event and a member of the Fayette Airport Ambassadors, said that approximately 30 pilots participated in the fly-in, and the event was attended by more than 500 people.
