Birthday girls celebrate at FMC Long Term Care



Fayette Long Term Care residents Sarah Kizzire, pictured at left, and Louise Ham, right,celebrated milestone birthdays at their joint birthday party on Monday, April 29. Kizzire reached 99 years on Thursday, April 18 while Ham turned 104 on Thursday, April 25. Both ladies enjoyed family, friends, cards, flowers, and parties in honor of their blessed day.

Celebrating 101!


Christine Fink is shown celebrating her 101st birthday.

Christine Fink, a resident at the Fayette Medical Center Long-Term Care facility, celebrated her 101st birthday on Friday, Feb. 12 with pizza and a special birthday cake. Fink said that she is doing good and still enjoys talking to her friends and the staff at Fayette Long-Term Care. “They have been wonderful to me,” she said of the staff. When asked her secret for long life, Fink replied, “Go to church, believe in the Good Lord, and say your prayers.”

Fink celebrates 100th birthday


Christine Fink celebrated her 100th birthday on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

Christine Fink, a resident at Fayette Medical Center Long-Term Care, celebrated her 100th birthday on Wednesday, Feb. 12, surrounded by family and friends. A lifelong resident of Fayette, she said that she still enjoys visiting with people and reminiscing about the way things used to be.

Ms. Ella turns 99!


Ella Wilson is shown celebrating her 99th birthday at the Fayette Long-Term Care Center.

Ella Wilson celebrated her 99th birthday on March 25 at the Fayette Long-term Care Facility. She was surprised with a special birthday party by her family. Ms. Ella, as she is affectionally known by the staff and her many friends, wore her crown and sash to celebrate the special occasion. She was escorted around the facility on her birthday and was congratulated by the other residents and staff. Ms. Ella plays the harmonica and sings at many of the activities at the Long-Term Care facility.
