Lady Wildcats go to regionals

The Berry varsity girls secured a 13-0 win against the Marion County Red Raiders on Monday, April 28. The Lady Wildcats lost 6- 5 to the Brilliant Tigers on Tuesday, April 29, in game one of the championship game.  In game two, the Wildcats were victorious with a 5-2 win over Marion County. In the final game of the day, the Lady Wildcats secured a 8-4 victory over Brilliant.

FCHS boys golf team wins Fayette Country Club Invitational

On Tuesday, April 22, the Fayette County High School boys’ golf team competed at the Fayette Country Club against various teams and won the Fayette Invitational. Winning medalists included Clark Vandiver, Charlie Cooper and Sawyer Stevenson for making All Tournament. Hubbertville boys out of playoffs

The Hubbertville varsity boys lost 6-2 to Lynn on Friday in game one of the second round of playoffs.  In game two, the Lions fell 7-4 to Lynn.

The Hubbertville varsity girls were victorious against Phillips 5-2 on Thursday, April 24.

Lions defeat Coosa Christian, lose to Stallions

The Hubbertville varsity boys fell to the South Lamar Stallions 5-2 on Monday, April 14. On Friday, April 18, the Lions defeated the Coosa Christian Conquerors 4-3 in game one of the first round of playoffs.  In game two, Hubbertville faced an 8-6 loss to the Conquerors. In the final game, the Lions won 9-2 against Coosa Christian.

The Hubbertville varsity girls defeated the Brilliant Tigers 15-4 on Monday, April 14. The Lady Lions defeated Marion County 7-4 on Tuesday, April 15, and earned an 11- 10 victory over Winston County on Wednesday, April 16.

Lady Tigers defeated by Berry Wildcats

The Fayette County Varsity boys fell 2-1 to the Sipsey Valley Bears on Monday, April 14. The Tigers lost 8-3 against the Etowah Blue Devils on Thursday, April 17, in game one of a doubleheader. In game two, Fayette County lost 8-0 against the Blue Devils. 

The Fayette County varsity girls lost to Marion County 9-7 on Monday, April 14. The Lady Tigers beat the Pickens Academy Pirates 7- 3 on Tuesday, April 15. Fayette County girls faced a narrow defeat, 5-4, to the Berry Wildcats on Friday, April 18.

On Tuesday, April 15, the Berry varsity boys lost to the Sulligent Blue Devils 6-2.  The Wildcats lost 14-1 against the Appalachian Eagles in game one of a double header on Friday. In game two, the Wildcats fell 13-7 to the Eagles.

The Berry varsity girls grabbed a 7-4 victory over Marion County on Thursday, April 17. The Lady Wildcats were victorious with a 5-4 victory over Fayette County on Friday, April 18.

Hub boys beat Pickens Academy 6-2
