Hub boys beat Pickens Academy 6-2

Hamilton falls to Fayette Tigers

The Fayette Co. varsity boys defeated the Hamilton Aggies 16-3 on Tuesday, April 8. The Tigers secured a 5-0 win against Hamilton on Thursday, April 10 in game one of a double header. In game two, Fayette grabbed a 5-4 victory over the Aggies.

The Fayette Co. varsity girls defeated Lamar County 11-1 on Monday, April 7. On Tuesday, April 8, the Lady Tigers lost 10-0 against Curry in game one of a double header. In game two, the Lady Tigers fell to Winfield 5-1. 

Berry sweeps Brilliant in double header

The Berry varsity boys defeated the Brilliant Tigers, 10- 0, on Tuesday, April 8, in game one of a doubleheader. In game two, the Wildcats won 5-0 against Brilliant. The Wildcats defeated the Sulligent Blue Devils, 10-8, on Friday, April 11. 

The Berry varsity girls secured a 6-3 victory over Brilliant on Monday, April 7. On Tuesday, the Lady Wildcats lost 2-1 to Brilliant.  The Wildcats grabbed a 4- 3 victory over Lamar County on Wednesday, April 9.  Berry fell 7-4 to the Hubbertville Lions on Thursday, April 10. 

Lady Wildcats named Bulldog Classic runner-ups

Berry High School varsity girls played in a triple header single elimination on Saturday, April 5. The Lady Wildcats beat Pickens Academy 8-3 and Oakman 2-1, but fell 10-6 to Lamar County in the championship game. “I am very proud of these young ladies and my coaches for overcoming many obstacles while continuing to rally around each other to finish as runner up in a very competitive field,” said Coach Darrell Thomas.

The Berry varsity girls secured a 6-5 victory over Pickens Academy on Tuesday, March 25. The Lady Wildcats fell to South Lamar 6-5 on Thursday, March 27.

The Berry varsity boys defeated the Marion County Raiders 17-5 on Tuesday, March 25. The Wildcats earned another victory, 5-4, over Marion County on Thursday, March 27. Berry narrowly defeated the Pickens Academy Pirates 11-10 on Friday, March 28.

Bulldogs take a bite out of Lady Lions

The Hubbertville varsity girls were defeated 13-4 by the Meek Tigers on Monday, March 24. The Lady Lions fell to the Carbon Hill Bulldogs 4-1 on Friday, March 28 in game one of a double header. In game two, Hubbertville narrowly defeated South Lamar with a score of 12-11.

Hubbertville defeats Brilliant Tigers

The Hubbertville varsity boys defeated the Brilliant Tigers 16-1 in game one of a doubleheader on Tuesday, March 25. In game two, the Lions secured another win against Brilliant 13-3. Hubbertville was victorious over Lamar County with a 8-7 win on Friday, March 28.

Fayette Co. Varsity Tigers go 2-2 in the Gulf Coast Classic

On Monday, March 17, the Fayette County varsity boys defeated Christian Heritage Academy 2-1. The Tigers lost 7-1 to the Calera Bulldogs on Tuesday, March 18.

The Tigers won big over the Bartlesville Bruins 8-1 on Wednesday, March 19 in game one of a double header. In game two, Fayette County was defeated 12-2 by the Spanish Fort Toros.
