RANDALL OTTIS BONDS
Funeral services for Retired MSGT Randall Ottis Bonds, better known as Randy, age 64 of Winfield, were held on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, at 2 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Sand Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.He died Monday, Dec. 1, at his residence.
Randy was born in Panama City, Fla., at Tyndall Air Force Base on Nov. 11, 1961, to Ottis and Millie Grace Bonds and was a 1979 graduate of Winfield City High School. After graduation, he started his career as an LPN at Carraway Hospital in Winfield. He then joined the United States Air Force and served his country for 20 years and retired as Master Sergeant. While serving in the Air Force Randy was stationed in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm / Desert Shield. After retirement, he returned home to Winfield and worked as an LPN at Fayette Medical Center for seven years.
Randy was a very talented pianist and singer and was always the life of the party, with his smile and laugh he would light up the darkest room and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Caleb Randall Bonds, his parents, grandparents, Milton and Ethel Garrison and his special uncle, Ed Birmingham.
Randy is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Jessica Reese Bonds; his three daughters, Scarlett Bonds, Rose Oden and her husband Ryan and Gracie Lucas and her husband Daniel; his three grandsons, Leo and Kap Oden and Greysen Lucas; aunts, Linda Birmingham of Winfield and Sue Parker (Gerald) of Reform; and a host of other relatives and close friends.
