Glen Allen experiences major water line issues

After days of water leaks and shortages, the Glen Allen Water System appears to be back operating at full capacity. Glen Allen Mayor Allen Dunavant said that the problems started during the extremely cold weather this area experienced during the Christmas holidays. He said that with temperatures dipping down below 10 degrees at times and staying below freezing for several consecutive hours, they began getting calls at City Hall from customers who were without water.
