Fayette Christian Academy held its first-ever sporting event on Nov. 5 as the Golden Eagles Junior High Girls basketball team faced off against the Amory Christian Academy Lions. Although the Golden Eagles suffered a 29 - 8 defeat, everyone couldn’t have been happier with the effort and they are also excited for the future. “What a blessing and a joy to see where God has brought our school over the last several years,” said FCA Principal and Athletic Director Bill Sullivan.  The school, which is a ministry of the Fayette First Free Will Baptist Church, has grown from just a pre-school that started in 1985, to now being a full Christian school with the capability of having students through 12th grade.
