On Tuesday, April 30, an unfortunate vehicle crash took the life of 18-year-old Chaney Livingston. The crash occurred around 2:50 p.m. nine miles west of Millport on Highway 96, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA). Reports show that Livingston’s car collided head on with an 2019 Mack tractor-trailer and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Livingston was a senior at Lamar County High School and was set to graduate in May 2024. Fallon Boman, owner of Sweet Annie Boutique, released a statement on the impact of Livingston in the Fayette community. The Celebration of Life for Livingston was held on Sunday, May 5, at Lamar County High School. For anyone who would like to donate, please visit https://gofund.me/f55b12a6.
