After more than 100 years of being a family-owned and operated bank in Fayette, The Citizens Bank will soon become part of the BankFirst system of banks. The announcement was made public in a press release on Thursday, Oct. 14. Members of the BankFirst Corporation traveled to Fayette on that date to make the announcement public.
