Former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions visited Fayette last week, saying that he is seeking his former office of U.S. Senator to help President Donald Trump continue his agenda of “making America great again.” Sessions spoke at the Fayette County Republican meeting on Dec. 10, telling the crowd that he wants to regain the senate seat to return it to the people of Alabama.
“I don’t feel like the seat is my seat, it belongs to the people of Alabama,” he said. “I want to return the seat to the people where it belongs.”
