Fayette scored two fourth quarter touchdowns to come from behind and defeat Red Bay by the score of 24-20. The game was tied 6-6 at halftime, with Red Bay leading 14-12 at the conclusion of the third period. Red Bay received the opening kickoff and after driving to its 41-yard line, punted the ball to Fayette. The punt was returned 34 yards by Cooper Sanford, but a holding penalty on the return gave the Fayette Tigers possession at its 15-yard line.
