Hubbertville’s softball team opened its 2021 season with a 17-7 road loss to Hackleburg. Laikyn Wright had two hits, including a home run and four RBIs. Krissa Comer had two hits, including a solo home run. Kylee Dunn also had two hits and scored two runs, while Brenley Burkett had a solo home run. Emma Nichols started the game on the mound for Hubbertville. Nevaeh Hoobler picked up the loss in relief.
